INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE TO US:
We may collect personal information when you voluntarily provide it to us through forms, registration processes, or other features of our Services, including when you 1) request support, 2) sign up for our newsletter, 3) sign up as a volunteer, and 4) provide prayer requests. We use this information to set up your account, communicate with you, respond to your inquiries, and provide the Services. We may also use this information to enhance the safety and security of our Services, comply with applicable legal obligations, and protect our rights and the rights of our Clients and Volunteers. Certain of this information is required in order to use our Services, while other information is voluntary. Information that you directly submit through our Services includes:
- Contact information, such as name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
- Account information, such as username and password.
- Characteristics and biographical details, such as relationship to care receiver, date of birth, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, marital status, number and ages of children, occupation, religious affiliation and/or faith practice used to match you with the appropriate volunteer or client.
- Health information, such as cancer type and subtype, diagnosis date and current stage, treating physician and hospital, cancer history, and treatment history.
- Preferences and motivations, such as matching preferences, topics you are comfortable discussing, and reason for becoming a Volunteer.
- Any additional information you choose to provide us, such as additional information you include in your profile, information you provide to us via communications, information you share in our online communities, and prayer requests. Note that any information you submit to any public area of the Services will be considered “public” and will be accessible by anyone who has access to that area of the Services.

We may also collect information automatically when you visit our website using cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies to enhance your browsing experience.This may include your IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, and browsing preferences. OTHER CLIENTS OR VOLUNTEERS:
When you sign up for the Services as a Client or a Volunteer, certain of your information will be visible to other Clients and/or Volunteers. For example, Clients are able to see certain details about potential Volunteer matches (such as first name, city, and cancer type), and once a Client is matched to a Volunteer, the matched Client and Volunteer can see additional information from each other’s profiles. Your information may also be visible to other Clients and Volunteers if you choose to participate in and share information through our online communities.
LEGAL COMPLIANCE:
We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect our rights, investigate fraud, or ensure the safety of our users, Clients, or Volunteers.
Data Security
We implement certain security measures designed to protect the personal information we collect and maintain. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
