Diagnosed with neuroendocrine carcinoma (NEC) in his 30s, Bill faced the daunting challenge of facing cancer while raising a young family. His journey is one of profound perseverance, having undergone over 70 treatments and participated in four clinical trials. Remarkably, Bill would run marathons just days after receiving chemotherapy treatments. Despite these hurdles, Bill has trained as an ultra-marathon runner, using his races to raise awareness about NEC and promote early detection.
